Client Policies

In Studio:

❏ Arrive on time

❏ Late entry is allowed up to five minutes after class begins. After that, entry is not allowed (this is for your safety and the quality of class) and is considered a late cancel.

❏ Store belongings in the designated area; do not bring belongings into the class space.

❏ Silence/Turn off cell phones

No cell phones/smart devices allowed in class.

No phone calls in the studio; please step into the hall to take voice calls.

❏ Barefoot or grip socks required - no regular socks.

❏ Wear appropriate fitness clothing. Refrain from using equipment in clothing adorned with glitter, zippers, buttons or anything that could damage the equipment.

❏ Refrain from overbearing scents/perfumes.

❏ Be mindful of hygiene.

❏ Wipe down equipment with provided materials after class and return props.

❏ Pregnant clients are welcome in:

All classes up to 14 weeks of pregnancy with consent from doctor.

“Defined” classes between 14-27 weeks of pregnancy with consent from doctor..

For your safety, only private sessions 27+ weeks of pregnancy.

❏ Please follow specific guidelines regarding injuries and pregnancy provided in the class descriptions on MindBody Online. If you have questions regarding your specific scenario, email info@thespacepilates.com for guidance.

❏ Service dogs only (Different from support or therapy dogs!)

❏ The Space, LLC and its employees are not responsible for any lost or stolen items.

Booking:

❏ One same day switch (no less than 2 hours before the originally scheduled class) allowed per person per day with no additional fee.

Switching within 2 hours of class start time or a second switch in one day will result in a late cancel and charge for a second class.

❏ Cancelling less than 24 hours before class will result in a late cancel and loss of the class.

❏ Not showing up to class will result in a no show and loss of the class plus a $15 fee.

Etiquette

❏  Maintain up to date insurance, credit card information, and certifications.

❏  Practice with equipment and modalities in which you are certified and legally able to teach in New York State.

❏  Respect the quiet, positive, and professional atmosphere of The Space. Bring noise levels down if you feel them increasing.

❏  Respect requests set forth by the Owner and Staff of The Space, LLC.

❏  Wear appropriate fitness clothing and ensure clients are wearing appropriate fitness clothing while in a session. Refrain from using equipment in clothing adorned with glitter, zippers, buttons or anything that could damage the equipment. Indoor shoes only to teach. Absolutely no shoes on the equipment at anytime.

❏  Be responsible for the safety and behavior of your client while they are present in The Space.

❏ No food or beverages in the teaching area/on the equipment at anytime.

Studio Hours

❏  Monday through Friday 7am-9pm

❏  Saturday & Sunday 9am-3pm

❏  Other hours available upon request for Instructors/Renters

Appointments


❏ Sessions must be booked via email to info@thespacepilates.com

❏  Sessions are 60 minutes and may be booked on the quarter hour ex: 8:00am, 8:15am, 8:30am, 8:45am.

❏  If you have a handicap client or a client with specific needs, please notify The Space staff to ensure that the client is appropriately cared for.

❏  Both Renter and Client must be up-to-date with waivers and compliance of policies before the start of each session.

Rental Rates

❏  Private Sessions: $30 /hour

❏  Duet Sessions: $45 /hour

❏  Please inquire for trio+ and class area bookings for class and workshop purposes.

❏  Please see Perks and Promotions below for discounts.

Payment

❏ Card information must be kept on file.

❏  Payment for sessions can take place at the end of each day or the end of each calendar week per the request of the Renter.

❏  Payment is accepted via credit card and cash. If paying in cash, please provide notice so front desk staff may provide change if needed.

Cancellations

❏ 24 hour cancellation policy for all sessions booked.

❏ Any session cancelled within less than 24 hours of the booking will be charged in full.

❏ All cancellations made prior to 24 hours before the booked session will not be charged.

❏ Sessions may be rescheduled during the same business day for no additional charge, space permitting.

Self Training and Trading with CPIs

❏ Trading sessions with fellow Instructors are permitted during off peak hours and/or when there is room in the studio for free! Please schedule these sessions via email. All sessions are subject to cancellation due to priority of paid rental sessions.

❏  Self Training is permitted during all business hours for free! Please schedule these sessions via email. All sessions are subject to cancellation due to priority of paid rental sessions.

❏  Be mindful of fellow instructors and their clients and ensure the paying instructor is able to use any equipment and props during their session.

Photography/Videography

❏ Photos and videos of you or your clients at the studio are welcome and encouraged. Please be mindful of other Instructors and clients and do not have them or their voices in the background.

❏  “Photoshoots” and “video shoots”, however casual, must be scheduled and confirmed via email with The Space. Requests for privacy in the studio during shoots are available for rent via email inquiry.

❏  The Space Community kindly requests that any photo taken in the studio is given acknowledgment to The Space.

The Space Client Referrals Program

❏ To be a part of The Space referral program and receive clients through the studio, Instructors must provide information via the Referral Program Form in full to ensure clients and instructors are most appropriately matched.

❏  Private Session Rate: $40/hour for the first 10 sessions with assigned Instructor and Client Referral.

❏  Standard rental rates apply beginning on the 11th session with assigned Instructor and Client Referral.

❏  As this is a program offered through The Space Community, with the Instructor as priority, we kindly ask that all referred clientele are trained at The Space Pilates studio location. This program works very hard to build your clientele, but the program cannot be maintained without your support for our community!

Perks and Discounts

❏ Recommend a Certified Pilates Instructor to The Space and receive a $90 credit to your account after they book and complete their first three Private or Duet Sessions!

❏  For any calendar week in which you book more than 10 sessions, sessions are discounted to $27 per private session and $40.5 per duet sessions. **

❏  For any calendar week in which you book more than 20 sessions, sessions are discounted to $25 per private session and $37.5 per duet sessions. **
